Functional Dry Needling in Columbia Falls, MT

What is Functional Dry Needling?

Dry needling is a modern, evidence-based technique performed by licensed physical therapists using a thin, solid filament needle is inserted directly into myofascial trigger points to reduce tight, knotted bands of muscle that cause pain, limit range of motion, and refer discomfort to other areas of your body.

When a dry needle penetrates a trigger point, it creates a brief involuntary contraction of the muscle that results in: reduced muscle tension, improved local healing

environment, decrease pain sensitivity, and improved blood flow.

Recent evidence shows improved results; longer lasting and less soreness with the co-use of electrostimulation. Physio Forge utilizes the most advanced clinical use stim unit on the market.
